Experience 5 Gum's Interactive Alternate Reality Game

Project: 5 Gum "Human Preservation Project" Alternate Reality Game
My Role: Visual Designer, Web Designer, Motion Graphics, and Marketing Materials

Challenge:

As part of a larger alternate reality game (ARG) for Wrigley's 5 Gum campaign, I was tasked with bringing the online game to life through engaging visuals and interactive elements. Beyond the game, I also contributed to various campaign assets, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand experience.


My Contributions:

Animation & Graphic UI:

  • Crafted dynamic and thematic animations that brought the 5 Gum brand and campaign concept to life within the game.
  • Designed intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI) that ensured smooth gameplay and user flow.
  • Maintained visual consistency across all five levels, each representing a different sense.

Print Materials & Motion Graphics:

  • Developed engaging print materials such as posters and flyers that complemented the online game and broader ARG experience.
  • Created captivating motion graphics for various campaign elements, further immersing audiences in the "Stimulate Your Senses" world.

Website & Marketing Assets:

  • Designed and built the campaign website, serving as the central hub for information and player engagement.
  • Developed diverse marketing assets like social media graphics, email templates, and landing pages to drive awareness and participation.

Impact:

My contributions played a crucial role in:

  • Enhancing player immersion: The animations, UI, and overall visual design helped draw players into the game's world and deepen their connection with the campaign.
  • Strengthening brand identity: The consistent visual language across all game elements and marketing materials reinforced brand recognition and campaign messaging.
  • Creating a unified experience: From the website to the game itself, my work ensured a seamless and engaging journey for all campaign participants.
