Description
Freightliner also wanted to ensure that the website was easy to navigate and that it provided customers with all the information they needed to make an informed decision about their purchase. Additionally, they wanted to ensure that the website was optimized for mobile devices, as well as desktop computers, so that customers could easily access the website no matter where they were. Finally, they wanted to ensure that the website was secure and that customers' data was safe.

Problem:
Freightliners website did not properly represent the company, did not function well on mobile, was difficult to navigate and maintain.

Objective:
  • Design a modern website with a clean, professional look and feel that accurately reflects the company's brand.
  • Optimize the site navigation by creating a user-friendly interface that allows visitors to easily find the information they need.
  • Implement SEO best practices to ensure the website is visible to potential customers.
  • Build all of this into a modern CMS for ease of upkeep
  • Build a truck builder that could be integreated into their sale application

My Role: Digital Director
  • Created a new look and feel for the Freightliner site and new materials
  • Close collaboration with UX on user flow and web architecture structure
  • UI library created using new look
  • Interaction design of truck builder and complex interactions
  • Providing support during the development process
